Preschool Parents,

Preschool Lessons for the week:

Actual day: May 31

Lesson dated May 31

I need to know how many of you are using this resource.  The last week of our free lessons ends this week.  We will have the ability to continue, but I need to know who is using this for June.

Download the digital pass for preschool if not already doneI had my computer remember me and just hit the log in button and it takes me to the preschool page.  They have added content so you have to scroll to it sometimes.

Watch the introduction video on all the resources.

Be acquainted with the videos and take-home sheet. The take home sheet is under downloads.  They have added a coloring sheet just like the ones they would use in Sunday school.  It too is free.

https://mrmarksclassroom.com is a great place to look for crafts and learn about children’s ministry any time of year.

Bring the child or children into a circle.  Open your Bible to Acts 10. Sing some of your favorite songs or just let them use the wooden spoon on an old pot.  Make this week a week of celebration.  Peter went to Cornelious’ house to tell him about Jesus.  Keep playing some repeat games to learn this week’s verse.  Clap your hands to the syllables of the words.  You will be surprised at how fast they can learn this verse.  If you started this last week, see how well they remember the unit verse. Make sure to explain the words so they know why it is important.  Acts 10.  A lot of verses for the week so retell the stories in your own words.  Jesus loves all people.  In the story today a man who prayed and helped others wanted to know more about God, and Peter went to tell him about Jesus.

Have the children pray thanking God for people who tell about Jesus even when it seems hard.

Watch the first video “Bible Story with Ms. Lindy.”  This week it is 5:45 min.  After the story pause the video and talk about it.  Ask questions about how Jesus’ loves all people.  Where do people sing about Jesus?  Answers will vary but almost everywhere is correct. Jesus wants everyone to sing praises and tell others about Him.  He loves us and helps us tell others about His stories.

Do the kids activity page for the older preschool kids. Younger kids can also look at the path Peter took to tell others about Jesus.  How can we go to places like this and tell others about Jesus?

Find good resources for songs and other activities like, Go Fish songs, What’s in the Bible, or My first hymnal on you tubeIf not already owned, you can rent or subscribed to them.  The best is if you just sing Jesus Loves Me, This Little Light of Mine, Zacchaeus, The BIBLE, and Old Man Noah had a boat (sung to Old McDonald) They will let you know when you are done.  The more you sing the same song the better.  Remember most preschoolers do not read so doing a song over and over is how it gets into their mind.

At (5:50) on the video continue the show Ms. Lindy’s Library.

Have a small snack and let them play.  While they play this week keep reminding them that we can show our love to God by celebrating Him, like Peter.  Are you showing love right now?  Nothing over a minute per age, so even Ms. Lindy may have to have pauses in her teaching.  Please let us know when you meet and how things are going.  I really do wish for you to check in once a week to get this information, and to give us an attendance report for Sunday School.
