Welcome Center Host/Hostess
At FBCW
The role of staff at the welcome center is to completely meet the needs of the visitor(s). This may include the following:
Getting their children registered for the correct nursery or Sunday School class.
Helping them select their own Sunday school class and introducing them to the teacher.
Advising them of worship times and the various ministries of our church.
Answering any questions they may have and to make them feel most welcome at our church.
The only requirement is a willingness to work and be of service. Aside from that if one is friendly, social and engaging – likes to meet people – I would say that would be a plus.
If one is willing to serve I can add you to the role immediately. The service would be ongoing per schedule until one desires to leave. The time requirements are minimal. Your duty would probably be less than a hour per week, and only on the week you are scheduled.
Commitment is ongoing, but one only needs to serve as long as they want to. If you desire to serve in another capacity you may leave when you want to.
