I started to teach when I graduated from Airplane & Engine Mechanic School in the Air Force, not because I chose to, but because the powers that be handed me orders to report for duty at the school headquarters. I wasn't happy about it, but orders are orders. I taught until my enlistment was up and I was discharged.
Several years later I accepted Jesus as my Savior and my Pastor asked me what I could do to serve my Lord. The words came out of my mouth without even thinking about it, and I answered, "I can teach". I taught a class of junior boys for many years before I relocated to Lake Saint Louis. I know that at least one of those young men became a servant of the Lord as he worked in my department after graduating from college. He is also a close friend and serves as a deacon in the Baptist Church of Harvester. Needless to say, I take teaching seriously as I serve the Lord. I truly believe the Holy Spirit led my response to my Pastor that day long ago.
My group is made up of adults that are primarily in their 70's and 80's. We'd welcome anyone that enjoys studying and growing in the Word of God!
