Greeters
Purpose
Greeters are stationed at the church entrances and their main duty is to welcome people to church. The emphasis is on trying to recognize first-time visitors so that they can be directed to the Welcome Center. Following a visitor introduction, you can take them to meet the staff at the welcome center and they will assist the visitor from that point on.
Description
Beyond opening the door and welcoming folks, you may also have to assist folks if they need help exiting or entering their cars or if they have items they may need help carrying.
Who Are You Serving?
Anyone who enters our church.
Requirements
The only requirement is a willingness to work and be of service. Loving people and being friendly, social, and engaging is an absolute plus!
To Get Involved
If one is willing to serve, you may begin immediately. The time requirements are minimal. The service times would probably be less than 1 hour per week you are scheduled. The commitment is ongoing, but one only needs to serve as long as one wants to.
