H.U.G.G.S. (Helping Unite Gift Giving Sponsors)
Hope Ministry is seeking volunteers for Helping Unite Gift Giving Sponsors (HUGGS). This ministry opportunity affords us to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community by standing in the gap for families who are in critical situations.
As a HUGGS volunteer, we work with families throughout the year, not only during the holiday season. Bring all your gifts and talents to mentor, coach, and assist families in a variety of ways as they work toward lasting solutions. This ministry goes beyond helping with food and other essentials by offering the message of hope through faith in Jesus. Building relationships is the best way to be able to do that!
What kind of HUGGS can we provide?
- Meet needs of homeless emergencies
- Meet medical & body care needs
- Give a fish or “teach” how to fish
- Transportation barriers of survival
- Administration duties
- Marketing/promotional
- Reach the lost with the good news
Family burdens are ongoing 365 days a year, not just during the holiday season.
