Adult SS Apprentice Leader

01.16.17 | Volunteer | At FBCW | by Jeremy Shirley

    Purpose

Adult Sunday School is the primary ministry of our church focusing on engaging all adults in discipleship. As part of our call to make disciples the focus of the ministry is on Reaching People for Christ, Teaching the Word, and Ministering to Others.

    Description

In order to start new groups to promote growth, we need new leaders. The best way to learn to be a leader is by learning from an existing leader.  As an apprentice you’ll begin to help with teaching responsibilities as you become more comfortable and learn the ins and outs of being a Sunday School leader.

    Skills/Gifts Needed

Sunday School meets weekly throughout the year. To serve as an apprentice, you’d need to make a commitment to your leader.  Additional training times will take place throughout the year to assist you in your growth as a leader.  Willingness to learn is a necessity, no prior teaching or leadership experience required.

    To Get Involved

If you’re already engaged in Sunday School, the best place to start is by talking with your current Sunday School leader. If you’re not engaged in Sunday School or just have more questions, please contact Jeremy Shirley at 636-327-8696 or
